War Of Words With A Doctor Of 40 Years Experience

This was an interesting exchange that most people don’t get to have and I thank the doctor for being part of our exchange. BUT we will never agree with each other. Rather I let this man have his say so you could see what he says about you, natural cancer treatments and advocates for natural cancer treatments.

The following came from my Facebook (Natural Treatment Knowledge) post 7/23/2018

Candida and Cancer: New Link or Old News

The causes of cancer seem to be as numerous as cancers themselves, but recent clinical research has demonstrated a link between certain types of cancer and the presence of fungus in the body. Candida abicans is one of the most common types of fungus (technically speaking, a yeast) that is present in small amounts in and on the human body. Under normal conditions, Candida cohabitates without causing us any problems. But when the environment is primed for it, Candida yeast can multiply and grow out of control.

Types Of Candida

The infection that results is known as candidiasis, and there are several different types:

  • Thrush – Candida yeast that spreads to the mouth and throat.
  • Genital Yeast Infection – Concentration of Candida in the genitals that affects three out of four women in their lifetime. Men can also get genital candida.
  • Diaper Rash from Yeast Infection – Candida that spreads under wet or soiled diapers.
  • Invasive Candida – Candida yeast that enters the bloodstream (often through medical devices).

Common Symptoms

Common symptoms associated with an overabundance of Candida include the aforementioned yeast and fungal infections across and within the body, but also extend to include:

  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Brain Fog
  • Digestive Issues
  • Food Allergy/Intolerance
  • Sinus Infections
  • Joint Pain
  • Low Mood
  • Weakened Immune System

Causes Of Candida

So, what is it then that causes Candida abicans to suddenly run amok and terrorize our physiology and immune system? Keep in mind that Candida lives in the digestive tract of most people already – candidiasis is an abnormal, excess growth of Candida. There are several primary and secondary contributors to an excess of Candida in the body:

  • High-Sugar Diet
  • Antibiotics
  • Chronic Stress
  • Contraceptive Pill
  • Dental Mercury
  • Chemical Exposure
  • Diabetes

3 Primary Causes Of Candida

We’ll discuss the first three, primary causes of candidiasis in people. Antibiotics are effective at killing harmful bacteria that cause infection in the body; the problem is that oftentimes the antibiotic will wipe out many of the beneficial bacteria that live in your gut and aid in proper digestion and food processing. Chronic psychological stress is another major factor that contributes to Candida.

Secondly, when under stress, the body releases a hormone known as cortisol which depresses the immune system and raises blood sugar levels. The Candida yeast will then seize this opportunity to feed on the extra sugar and multiply, while the immune system has become too weak to resist its spread.

This brings us to the third primary cause of Candida overgrowth: a high-sugar diet. Candida albicans is a yeast, and yeasts thrive by consuming carbon-based molecule chains. What this translates to for us is that Candida feeds on carbohydrates like glucose and fructose – simple sugars. The modern diet is loaded with simple carbohydrates from processed foods and beverages like sugar, flower, white breads, and alcohol. These simple sugars are easy for Candida to break down and so a sustained high-sugar, high-processed food diet like many people eat may essentially provide a non-stop buffet for Candida to flourish and spread.

Credible Scientific Studies

A 2011 study[LINK] (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21513811) published in the journal Fungal Genetics and Biology looked to examine what exactly is going on metabolically when Candida gets out of control. The research noted that Candida is a polymorphic fungus, which means that it is able to morph from its single-celled yeast form to a larger, filamentous form. It is when Candida grows into these long filaments that it is able to lodge into the intestinal lining and disrupt our gut ecology.

Dr. T.L. Han and his team were able to reconstruct the central carbon metabolism of C. abicans, showing that the presence of sugars like glucose leads to dimorphic transition into a virulent form of the fungus. Moreover, this sugar metabolism process leads to an increase in quorum sensing molecules that regulate gene expression. This means that the more glucose present, the more that Candida is able to grow and increase its gene expression within the body.

This information was supported by another study[LINK] (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1595344/) published in Eukaryotic Cell. This study determined the presence within C. abicans of a glucose sensor gene called HGT4. High levels of glucose in the body cause expression of this HGT4 gene, which leads to filament growth and eventually the virulent form of Candida.

Percentage Of Cancer Patients Who Also Have Candida

We know that candidiasis is an infection caused by an overgrowth of Candida. Numerous studies have shown a correlation between cancer and the presence of Candida in 79 to 97 percent of cases. A study[LINK] (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24963692) from Critical Reviews in Mcirobiology provides findings that show Candida capable of promoting cancer through carcinogenic byproducts, and the triggering of inflammation as well as growth of tumor cells.

Dr. Tullio Simoncini, author of the book Cancer Is A Fungus, argues that Candida actually appears in 97 to 98 percent of cancer cases, and that it is Candida itself that causes cancer and not the other way around, as traditional Western medicine has assumed. As the Candida fungus invades various parts of our anatomy, the affected organs attempt to encyst, or encapsulate, the invasive fungus with hyper-production of cells. Dr. Simoncini maintains that this over-production of cellular tissue in response to Candida is what leads to cancerous tumor growth.

Dr. Simoncini’s holistic approach to cancer treatment has been ignored and even ridiculed by the ‘official’ stance on oncology. He has developed a pioneering yet simple method to treat all forms of cancer in his patients – sodium bicarbonate or baking soda (NaHCO3). The alkalinity of the NaHCO3 applied directly to a tumor site changes the acidic pH rapidly, killing the Candida yeast before it has a chance to adapt. After a regimen of sodium bicarbonate directly applied to the tumor-afflicted area, many of Dr. Simoncini’s patients recovered from their cancers – even in cases where traditional oncology had given up.

What You Can Naturally Do About Candida

Aside from this groundbreaking clinical work, there are a host of natural options and remedies available to treat and rid the body of Candida. The first step in clearing out your Candida is to starve it of the food it loves – namely simple sugars and carbohydrates. Avoid processed foods with high sugar content and try to consume an organic, free-range diet that is rich in healthy fats and proteins as well as complex carbohydrates from vegetables and legumes. Ingesting cultured and fermented foods and beverages can introduce healthy probiotics to help rebalance your gut biology.

Since Candida is a fungus, we can look to naturally antifungal foods and herbs for help in cleansing our system.  Naturally antifungal foods include:

  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Coconut oil
  • Garlic
  • Green tea
  • Lemon/lime juice
  • Olive oil
  • Turmeric (curcumin)

Herbs and plant components with antifungal properties include:

  • Astragalus
  • Cloves
  • Calendula
  • Echinacea
  • Ginger
  • Grapefruit seed extract
  • Lavender
  • Licorice root
  • Rosemary
  • Usnea

Don’t Forget To Address Your  Leaky Gut

For internal gut issues with Candida, you want to be ingesting these available food options. Make a healthy antifungal salad dressing using olive oil and either apple cider vinegar or lemon/lime juice. Consider taking a ‘shot’ of cider vinegar or lemon juice during the day. Use coconut oil and olive oil to cook and prepare food dishes rather than corn, canola or vegetable oil. Get a healthy dose of cayenne pepper, cinnamon and turmeric by adding these to your food or consuming them in capsule form from a certified supplier. Cook with extra garlic, or even better, chop it up and eat it fresh (great with tomatoes!). Drink green tea or take an extract in capsule form.

All of these antifungal herbs are available as dietary supplement capsules that you can incorporate into a daily and weekly fungus fighting regimen. Nowadays it is common to find these herbal remedies also available in liquid form from retailers. Liquid herbal extracts are most commonly sold as glycerites, which use vegetable glycerin as the means of extraction. While glycerites are still quite effective, they are not nearly as potent as alcohol tinctures which use up to 95% alcohol (grain or cane) as a means of extraction. Higher alcohol percentages are able to maximally extract the medicinal constituents from herbs, and this results in the most robust and concentrated medicinal profiles.

Important Note: Most Candida sufferers have an underlying root cause for their affliction. That is to say they suffer from “Leaky Gut”.

Leaky gut occurs when the inner lining of the gut gets chronically inflamed, which results to the nutrients not being absorbed properly. Apart from that, small fissures appear in the membrane which lines the intestinal tract, allowing harmful toxins, bacteria and partially digested food particles to slip out of the gut and into the bloodstream, which the body’s immune system sees as foreign invaders. When these foreign invaders are detected, the white blood cells quickly rush towards them in an attempt to surround the invading particles and a kind of systemic inflammation ensues.

To fix leaky gut you should be taking collagen supplements.

Tinctures For Candida

To treat your Candida, incorporate a rotating dose of organic tinctures for a diversified approach that never gives the invasive fungus a chance to rest and infest. Take 3 droppers mixed with water in the morning and before bed. Find out how to make your own potent alcohol tinctures[LINK] (https://blog.mountainroseherbs.com/guide-tinctures-extracts) You can also brew a cleansing tea blend from any of these herbs. We recommend a soothing and aromatic combination of Calendula, Echinacea, Lavender, and Licorice Root.

Even when Candida flares up externally as a skin infection, you can still make use of these antifungal foods and herbs. Soak a paper towel in apple cider vinegar and make a compress to place over the affected area. Repeat several times throughout the day. You can also treat Candida topically with coconut oil and olive oil. The antifungal herbs mentioned work incredibly well infused into healing oils and curative salves that you can easily spread over the infected area. Purchase from a reputable herbal retailer or learn to make your own[LINK] (https://theherbalacademy.com/how-to-make-a-healing-salve/). You can even create a poultice from any blend of these herbs.

Ending Note

As we progress into an increasingly modern and technological world, the fields of healthcare and medicine continue to break new ground, yet have also found themselves turning back to older systems of health and wellness for answers. Classical Western medicine has positioned itself at the cutting edge of surgical intervention, trauma care and treatment of acute, life-threatening infection and disease. Despite these advancements, a lack of understanding of the full spectrum of causal factors for conditions like cancer has led patients and some medical professionals to seek alternative options for treatment. We’ve seen how Candida and candidiasis can be managed and treated through diet and herbal remediation. Perhaps it is time once again to pay homage to the storied herbal medicine traditions of the East and West, and consider a holistic approach to our health and wellness.

Most Common Cancer Symptoms

The most worrying fact about cancer symptoms isn’t the presence of cancer itself, but the fact that more people tend to brush off the symptoms as “non-consequential” and therefore not warranting a visit to the doctors. This could lead to some serious consequences. To be sure you’re not one of those people, here are some of the most common cancer symptoms to look out for.

Change in the Appearance of a Mole

moles.jpg

Moles are nothing to worry about, usually. But, a sudden change in the appearance of a mole could warrant a visit to the doctor. Those who stay outdoors a lot, either as an occupation or for recreational activities, need to take any unusual changes in the color, shape or texture of an existing mole seriously and visit their doctor to find out if it’s the cancer.

A Cough that Doesn’t Go Away

Coughing.jpg

The common cold and flu is usually accompanied by a cough, but having a cough that won’t go away and persists for a long time could be a symptom of lung cancer, especially for those who smoke. Head and neck cancers are on the rise in young people due to heavy smoking and the increased rates of HPV virus.

An Unexplained Lump

Bump

The swelling up of lymph nodes in the neck during a cold is common. It means the body is fighting off a bug, but getting swollen lymph nodes in the neck, groin and armpit that won’t go away even after a few months that aren’t accompanied by the symptoms of lymphoma needs to be checked.

Changes in Bladder Habits

HaveToPee.jpg

Your pee can often tell you more about your health than you know. Having to pee more often than usual can be a sign of prostate cancer. If you are experiencing unusual bladder movements, you will need to check up with a doctor.

Blood in Pee or Poo

BloodInUrine.jpg

The common cause of blood in poo is piles. But, it could also mean a sign of cancer. Seeing blood in urine should also not be taken lightly. Consulting your doctor will give you an idea of the possible causes, which is crucial since the early detection of any cancer increases the chances of being treated easily.

Changes in the Breasts

BreastSize

Lumps aren’t the only thing for women to watch out for. You also need to look for any sudden change in the shape, size or feel of a breast, including skin changes, or pain. Make sure the doctor knows if there’s fluid leaking from the nipple in a woman who isn’t pregnant.

A Sore that Won’t Heal

WoundWontHeal

The skin is able to repair itself very quickly. Normally, any damage to the skin heals within a few days. But, you should be concerned when a spot or sore does not heal within at least a month, even if it is painless.

Note To Remember

Cancer usually has no specific symptoms, which is why it’s important for people not to ignore any unusual signs that could lead to cancer. The reason why an early detection of any cancer is crucial because it could lead to a possible cure while the cancer is at an early stage.

What You Can Do About Cancer

Don’t panic if you’re given the news that you have cancer. There are many things you can do to help yourself overcome cancer such as:

Lung Cancer: How To Potentially Survive This Killer

Lung cancer, also known as lung carcinoma, is characterized by the emergence of a malignant lung tumor that may be caused by uncontrolled cell growth in the different tissues present in the human lungs.

If left unchecked, this disease can quickly proliferate well beyond the lung to various adjoining organs through a process known as metastasis.

Broadly defined, there are three different types of lung cancers that include the following:

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)

This is, by far and large, the most common type of lung cancer prevalent today. It has different sub-types that include the following

  • Adenocarcinoma
  • Squamous cell carcinoma and
  • Large cell carcinoma

Small cell lung cancer (SCLC)

This form of cancer is also sometimes referred to as ‘oat cell cancer.’ Currently, around ten to fifteen percent of all lung cancers are usually SCLC.

In this form of cancer, the cells tend to contain dense neurosecretory granules due to which, this tumor acquires an endocrine or paraneoplastic syndrome association.

Lung Carcinoid Tumors (LCTs)

The third type of lung cancer is known as ‘lung carcinoid tumors’ (also called lung carcinoids). However, this type of cancer is relatively uncommon amongst most people and LCTs also tend to grow a whole lot slower than the other more common lung cancer types

In order to understand lung cancer and why it occurs, let us study the lungs first.

The Lungs

The lungs are two large organs located in the chest region of the body and are roughly analogous to sponges. They help us breathe by absorbing oxygen and getting rid of carbon dioxide as we inhale and exhale.

Cancer effectively interferes with this ability by destroying the alveoli or small air sacs in the lung. As the cancer progresses and destroys healthy tissue, the lung and its surrounding organs cannot work properly, leading to disruption in their ability to perform their tasks. If left untreated, this disease can prove fatal indeed.

While lung cancer can strike anyone at any time, however, there are certain causative factors that can lead to cancer.

Some of them include the following

  • Smoking

This is one of the leading causes of lung cancer and medical research has consistently shown that smoking is one of the major causative agents for lung cancer.

  • Asbestos

Asbestos sheeting, when damaged, releases tiny particles into the atmosphere that when inhaled, can prove to be highly carcinogenic.

  • Air pollution

Currently, this is also a leading cause of lung cancer due to the fact that many cities in the world are perpetually enveloped in a pall of smog that consists of exhaust emissions from chemical plants and vehicles.

Symptoms of Lung Cancer

Some of the common symptoms of lung cancer include the following

  • Cough
  • Wheezing
  • Chest pain
  • Coughing up blood (in more advanced cases of the illness)
  • Shortness of breath (inability to inhale the required amount of oxygen)

What You Can Do Naturally About Lung Cancer:

You’re body is designed to be well if you put forth the effort and you must have enough life left in your body to accept the good things you’re putting into it.  If you’re one of the lucky people and you are stage-1 or stage-2 you a lot more options.

Dichloroacetate Sodium (DCA): A Non-Toxic But Effective Cancer Killer

DCA (dichloroacetate) is a naturally occurring and also an inexpensive and simple compound that offers significant therapeutic value in the treatment of different diseases such as cancer. Contrary to popular layman opinion, DCA usage in the treatment of cancer is not a particularly new concept and it has been quite successfully used for decades now.

What really is DCA and exactly how does it work?

The cell is the basic building block of life and we humans have trillions of them in our bodies. But a cell is living matter and therefore, requires energy to function and grow. The same holds true for cancer cells as well.

In a nutshell, all our cells generate their own energy by breaking down sugar or glucose though a certain process that is known as the Krebs cycle. However, cancer cells develop the ability to effectively bypass this whole cycle and thereby produce a large amount of energy using a much simpler process.

DCA, or dichloroacetate, is similar in many respects to some of the chemicals that are directly involved in the entire Krebs cycle. This is precisely why adding dichloroacetate to different cancer cells essentially kick-starts the whole Krebs cycle. Once this happens, the cancer cells stop multiplying and quickly die out. The best part of the whole exercise is that DCA does not seem to affect healthy cells at all, but only the cancerous ones.

In fact, many medical researches that have been conducted recently have provided ample evidence of its efficacy and safety as a front-line cancer treatment. It can also be used as an adjunct medication and treatment for ongoing cancer care, especially amongst those patients who have drug-resistant and or highly advanced metastatic cancers.

The key reason why DCA is gaining increasing popularity is because it has succeeded to an extent, in solving one of the biggest challenges that oncologists and other cancer treatment specialists have to face and that is to search for chemicals that would selectively induce cancer cells to die but would not harm the surrounding healthy cells at all in any way.

DichloroacetateSodium2.jpg

Based on the innate mechanism of dichloroacetate’s proven abilities in both the lab as well as considerable clinical evidence, many oncologists have now commenced prescribing this medication due to the tremendous value it provides in cancer treatment.

It is easily able to fulfill that most novel of criteria, that is, a medicinal agent that kills cancer cells while leaving the surrounding healthy tissues largely intact.

The term ‘novel cancer agent’ applies to DCA chief because it does not directly kill the cancerous cells (unlike chemotherapy and other standard cancer treatments) but rather successfully alters the metabolic functions of those cells without damaging surrounding cells.

When we take the above qualities into consideration, we realize that the advent of the DCA era can revolutionize cancer treatments as we know them today.

As of today we don’t have a particular brand or supplier of DCA that we endorse, but you can purchase DCA on Amazon or health related retailers.

Pancreatic Cancer: A Ticking Time Bomb

Pancreatic cancer is a form of cancerous growth that typically arises when various cells in the pancreas, (a small organ that lies behind the stomach) begin to multiply at a rate well beyond the essential requirements of the human body. Eventually they multiply out of control and go on to form a compact mass.

Unfortunately, for the patient suffering from this dreadful malady, these cancerous cells possess the ability to invade many other parts of the body as well.

Understanding your pancreas

The core function of the pancreas is to maintain the body’s blood glucose or sugar balance levels. The main hormones of the pancreas include glucagon as well as insulin and together, these two hormones regulate blood glucose levels in the body.

Symptoms of pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer is widely called the “silent cancer” due to the fact that many of the earliest symptoms tend to be both vague and largely unrecognized, as such. However, that does not mean that they do not exist, and signal the onset of this type of cancer. Here are some of the common telltale signs and symptoms that can aid in the diagnosis of this form of cancer.

  • Significant and inexplicable weight loss
  • Painless jaundice (yellow eyes and skin, thick yellow urine)
  • A lot of abdominal pain or any other form of discomfort in the abdominal area

SignsOfPancreaticCancer.jpg

While the above signs are deemed ‘classic’ symptoms of pancreatic cancer, there are many other possible signs of pancreatic cancer that tend to get overlooked. These include:

  • Nausea and frequent vomiting for no apparent reason
  • Back pain
  • Diabetes without any corresponding weight gain
  • Loss of appetite
  • Yellow fingernails
  • Indigestion (dyspepsia) that does not seem to respond at all to the duly prescribed medication and treatment
  • Intense pain when eating

Unfortunately, there is no ‘magic bullet’ symptom of this disease and few people will ever develop the full spectrum of such symptoms in the initial stages, and this problem is compounded by the fact that many such symptoms may have other underlying causes as well.

Causes of pancreatic cancer

While there is no specific reason that can potentially lead to this particular form of cancer but there are nevertheless, certain causative factors along with genetic causes as well. The genetic code in the DNA of the cells compels them to multiply beyond the necessary requirements of the human body, thereby leading to cancer.

How pancreatic cancer forms?

Pancreatic cancer usually begins when certain cells found within the pancreas start growing out of control and go on forming a tumor. As a rule, such tumors start in the exocrine cells that are responsible for creating pancreatic enzymes that aid in the process of digestion.

Complications of pancreatic cancer

Since pancreatic cancer is mostly found in the form of a tumor, its effects (or complications) depend entirely on how far it has spread in the body as well as its size and location. If it stops the bile duct from functioning properly, jaundice will follow suit and if it does the same for the digestive system, then it will cause loss of appetite and nausea.

What can you do about it?

You’re body is designed to be well if you put forth the effort and you must have enough life left in your body to accept the good things you’re putting into it.  If you’re one of the lucky people and you are stage-1 or stage-2 you a lot more options.

Stage-4 Cancer — Symptoms, Conventional Survival Rates

It is without a doubt that medicine has made some significant advances over the past few decades, but being diagnosed with cancer is enough to send a shiver down anybody’s spine, and rightly so. After all, cancer is one of the major life takers in the world with an annual average of 8.8 million deaths each year from the disease. While around 40% of the deaths could be averted for several years or more, and over one-third of cancers can be successfully treated through early diagnosis. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case, and more often than not, people find out when it’s too late. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with stage-4 cancer, you will probably be concerned about what it really means for you, and your family.

It’s true that a person with stage-1 cancer is going to be treated differently from somebody who has been diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. The stage of cancer can be found through a process called “staging” which is important not just because it provides the doctor with valuable information on the cancer, but it helps in giving a prognosis for the adequate treatment, and can also help a doctor estimate how well a patient is going to do once the treatment has been completed.

What is Stage-4 Cancer?

A patient is diagnosed with stage-4 cancer when the cancer has spread far from its origin in the body and has metastasized to other lymph nodes and organs in the body. The progression is also called “metastasis” and until the metastasis is singular, which means that it has only spread in a single direction and is accessible, it means that the cancer is no longer treatable with traditional therapies such as radiotherapy or surgery.

Average Survival Rates of Stage-4 Cancer

According to the National Cancer Institute,  5-year average survival rates by using conventional treatments for stage-4 cancer is as follows (beyond 5-years the stats drop dramatically):

Stage IV Cancer Type & National Survival Rate Average

  1. Breast        24%
  2. Brain         50%
  3. Colon & Rectum  12%
  4. Esophagus        3%
  5. Kidney              12%
  6. Lung & bronchus     4%
  7. Melanoma (skin)      24%
  8. Ovary            24%
  9. Pancreas       2%
  10. Prostate         28%
  11. Stomach        4%
  12. Urinary bladder    6%

Things to Know when Diagnosed with Stage-4 Cancer

If you or somebody you know has been diagnosed with stage-4 cancer, it can truly be a stressful frightening experience. The following are some of the important things that you need to know about stage-4 cancer. While describing the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment for all the cancers is not possible in one blog, it is without a doubt that any stage-4 cancer is going to require a sustained regimen of specialized treatment. It’s important to remember that a person with cancer is simply a sick person, a very sick person, but non-the-less, they’re just sick. The right doctor will be interested in finding out why you got cancer, not just treating the symptoms. Most conventional doctors don’t even have a clue. They simply want to give you chemo, radiation, or cut on you.

Does Stage-4 Cancer Require Chemotherapy?

If you are stage-4, the conventional system doesn’t place much hope in your survival. Therefore they’ll recommend highly toxic protocols with little to no hope. It’s my opinion that taking highly toxic anti-cancer protocols to get rid of cancer is a lot like cutting off your nose to get rid of a cold. So to answer the question; “does stage-4 cancer require chemotherapy”? The answer is NO. In fact if you want to be a well person you need to avoid toxins.

Where to get the Best Stage-4 Cancer Treatment?

This is where our experience can really help you. My mom is a stage-4 cancer survivor, and at the time of writing this article she’s an 10+ year cancer survivor. This puts her on a very short list of people who have survived at her level for as long as she has.

We’ve put a lot of work into answering this question. Click here to see my mom’s story.

Alternative Treatment Options:

It is certainly possible for an individual to be successfully treated for stage-4 cancer. Many lung cancer patients have gone from stage-4 to ‘No Evidence of Cancer’ albeit this remission cannot usually be considered as a definitive cure since the probability of the cancer returning is often high (how you live after treatments will depict your true survival time). But that being said, there is a lot of reasons to be hopeful in having a long life, regardless of what your conventional oncologist may have told you.

Remember that your body is unique, so cancer may have grown in your body for a variety of unique reasons. Some of the most common include:

  • Immune system problems (Most illnesses start from your gut)
  • Poor nutrition (you’ll be shocked to find out what your actually eating if you regularly eat from a box)
  • Toxins in your environment (you may be surprised at how many toxins you have surrounded yourself with)
  • Cancer markers
  • Genetics
  • Glucose levels

Addressing each of these in a customized treatment plan has taken many cancer victims and turned them into cancer survivors. If you’re stage 3 to stage 4, it’s highly recommended that you don’t play doctor on yourself. Get a highly skilled doctor who who will leave no stone un-turned to get you well.

A Mexican cancer clinic saved my life in 2007 by using alternative cancer treatments.  Hi, I’m Peggy Sue Roberts, a 11-year, stage-4 cancer survivor.  I live in Southern California and I’m very blessed to be alive today. I certainly wouldn’t be here today if I took the medical advice of my conventional oncologist. He simply said oncology couldn’t do anything else for me because of my near death reaction to chemotherapy . He sent me home to die in 2006.

Instead of accepting his prognosis, my husband Jim and I had decided to try alternative cancer treatments after some research. I arrived at the Mexican cancer clinic in a wheel chair with just several weeks to live. I was very weak, and felt like I was going to die. But I had the will to live! After several weeks of alternative cancer treatments, I was a new person. I felt strong, and alive. My husband, Jim, and I walked out of that clinic with huge smiles on our faces. I knew I was going to live.

A few weeks after returning home from Mexico, I went to see my conventional oncologist. He was in mild shock after receiving the results of my “after” PET-scan test, compared with my first PET-scan.

He said, “I’ve never seen anything like it in my life, Peggy. Your blood test is perfect, and your PET-scan didn’t detect any cancer at all.”  I never told him I had been to a Mexican clinic and he never asked, which I can only imagine was because he never really cared.

Now, after getting alternative cancer treatments at a Mexican cancer clinic in 2007, I’ve enjoyed 11 additional years of life that’s been given to me. I feel great today, and I thank the Lord for the additional time with my family.*

“I was stage 4 before I got here.” – Michael*  (Gastroesophageal Cancer)

Michael underwent two years of chemotherapy with no success. His gastroesophageal junction cancer had progressed to stage 4, and his options were running out. After a conversation with a former patient Michael was inspired to immediately make the trip to the clinic.

From his first day of, Michael began feeling better. He was impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness of the center’s staff. Michael’s tumors were extensive, but with an alternative cancer treatment plan, his cancer is no longer detectable.*

Stages of Cancer

Cancer is the one disease that has a major impact on society. Some of the most common cancers are; breast cancer, lung and bronchus cancer, leukemia, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, melanoma of the skin, thyroid cancer, kidney and renal pelvis cancer, colon and rectum cancer, endometrial cancer, and pancreatic cancer, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Cancer is the leading cause of death in the world with an estimated 14 million new cases being recorded and up to 8.2 million cancer related deaths occurring on average worldwide. While statistical data is not directly applicable to individual patients, the stages of cancer are. Here, we are going to go through the various stages of cancer and explain what is cancer staging.

Cancer Staging

Staging helps doctors describe the location of the cancer and whether it has spread to other parts of the body, or is affecting other organs of the body. There are various tests that are conducted to determine what stage a cancer is at, which helps doctors plan treatment and predict the chances of recovery. While each individual’s situation is going to be different when it comes to cancer, people with the same stage of cancer tend to have similar outlooks (prognosis) and are often times treated in the same way. For instance, cancer that’s at an early stage may be conventionally treated with radiation or surgery, while cancer that’s at a more advance stage is treated with chemotherapy., BUT we here at Cancer Free Living have seen far better results by using NATURAL ALTERNATIVE CANCER TREATMENTS. Looking at the stage the cancer is in, doctors are able to predict the right course of action. That said, all cancers are not (or cannot be) staged. For instance, leukemia is cancer of the blood cells and spreads throughout the body, which means it cannot be staged in the same way that cancers which form tumors are.

When determining the extent of spread of cancer, the first thing doctors look at is the size of the tumor and its location, and whether it has grown into other nearby areas of the body. Lymph nodes are small bean shaped collections of immune cells, which many types of cancers spread to before reaching other organs or parts of the body.

Steps for Cancer Staging

Doctors can use different types of tests to find out the stage of the cancer. These tests can also include a physical exam, x-rays, MRIs, CT scans, PET scans and ultrasound. These tests give the doctor an idea of where the cancer is in the body and how much it has spread. The patient may also have to take a biopsy, which involves the removal of a part of a tumor to find out if its cancerous. The tests such as x-rays, CT scans and biopsies that are taken are done during the clinical staging process. The pathologic stage relies on the results of those exams and tests, as well as what is learned about the cancer during surgery. While the clinical stage is a key part of deciding the best treatment to use, the pathological or “surgical stage” begins once the surgery has been performed.

Types of Staging Systems

There are two main types of staging systems for cancer – the TNM system and the number system. These two systems make it easier for doctors to describe the size and spread of the tumor, it also makes it easier for them to compare between the particular cancer stage and research studies, and follow standardized guidelines for treatment.

The TNM Staging System

The Union for Cancer Control (UICC) and the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) use the TNM classification system as a tool for describing the different stages of cancer. The TNM system is updated every 6 to 8 years as science advances and new medical discoveries are made.

In the TNM classification system, each cancer is assigned a specific letter or number which describes the tumor, note or metastases. For instance:

  • T stands for the original tumor.
  • N stands for the nodes and tells whether the cancer has spread to lymph nodes nearby
  • M stands for metastasis and tells whether a cancer has spread to any distant part(s) of the body.

Category ‘T’ provides information on the aspects of the original (primary) tumor, its size and how deeply it has grown into the organ that it started in.

The category ‘TX’ means the tumor cannot be measured.

The category ‘T0’ means that no evidence of a primary tumor has been found.

The category ‘Tis’ means that the cancerous cells are only growing on a superficial layer of the tissue, and is not growing deeper. This is also called ‘in situ’ cancer.

Any numbers that appear after the T such as T1, T2, T3, or T4 are used to describe the size of the tumor and the amount that it has spread to nearby tissues. The higher number indicates the size or amount the tumor has grown.

The category ‘N’ describes if a cancer has spread into any nearby lymph nodes.

The category ‘NX’ means that the lymph nodes are unable to be evaluated.

The category ‘N0’ means that the nearby lymph node does not contain any cancer cells.

The numbers that come after the N such as N1, N2 or N3 are used to describe the size, location and the number of lymph nodes that the cancer has infected. The higher the N number, the more the cancer has spread to any nearby lymph nodes.

The category ‘M’ tells whether a cancer has spread to distant areas of the body.

The category ‘M0’ is used to indicate that no distant spread of cancer was found.

The category ‘M1’ is used to indicate that the cancer has metastasized (spread) to distant parts of the body (organs or tissue)

Once the values for T, N, and M have been determined, they are combined to assign an overall stage.

The Number Staging System

The number staging system also uses the TNM system to divide the cancer into stages. Most cancer types have four stages that are numbered 1 to 4. The following is a brief summary of what the various stages of cancer means.

  • Stage 1 This normally means that the cancer is relatively small and contained within a single organ.
  • Stage 2 This means that the cancer has not begun to spread into the surrounding tissue, but the tumor does appear to be larger than at stage 1. This stage can also be an indicator that the cancer cells have spread into nearby lymph nodes.
  • Stage 3 This means that the cancer is larger and has started to spread to surrounding areas, including nearby lymph nodes.
  • Stage 4 At this stage the cancer has spread from where it begun to another part of the body. This stage is also known as metastatic or secondary cancer.

Doctors may also use the letters A, B and C to further divide the number categories (for example, stage 3B cervical cancer).

Other Cancer Staging Systems

The International Federation of Gynecologists and Obstetricians (FIGO) has a staging system for cancers of the female reproductive organs that is easy to convert to the TNM system.

Restaging

Restaging is a term used to describe doing tests to find the extent of the cancer after treatment had been carried out. After these tests a new stage could be assigned, which is denoted with a lower-case ‘r’ before the new stage to note that it’s different from the original stage at diagnosis. It is important to note that the originally diagnosed stage always remains the same.

The Link Between Chemotherapy And Coronary Artery Disease

We are a 10-year, stage-4, cancer survivor family. My mom, Peggy Sue overcame stage-4 cancer in 2007. She originally took chemotherapy but her life was spared by switching to natural cancer treatments. She has now lived long enough to have complications with the chemotherapy she took before choosing natural cancer treatments.

She started having blood pressure problems several years ago. When she went to the doctor he said: “chemotherapy?” Peggy said, “yes”. And the doctor said he sees this all the time when it comes to cancer patients.  It’s called called Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) and it’s deadly.

Interview On Studio 6B

How CAD (Coronary Artery Disease) Happens

Chemotherapy kills cancer because it shrinks its blood supply. Chemotherapy isn’t a smart drug. Therefore it shrinks your entire body’s blood supply by shrinking the diameter of your arteries and veins.

Whatever plaque you have in your arteries and veins will become increasingly worse by percentage as the diameter of your blood supply shrinks.

CAD2.jpg

Natural Remedies for CAD:

1. Garlic ~ Add 3 chopped garlic cloves to a cup of milk and boil it. All it to cool and drink it daily before going to bed. Also, include garlic in your cooking or take garlic supplements after consulting your doctor.

2. Turmeric ~ Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a little honey to a glass of warm milk. Drink it 1 or 2 times daily. Take turmeric supplements. The usual recommended dosage is 400 to 600 mg 3 times daily. However, consult a doctor before taking any supplements. Also, include turmeric powder to your cooking.

3. Caynne Pepper ~ add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of cayenne to a cup of hot water. Drink it 2 times daily for a few weeks. You can also take cayenne supplements, but only after consulting with your doctor.

4. Lemon ~ Mix the juice of 1 lemon in a glass of war water, along with a little honey and black pepper powder. Drink it 1 or 2 times daily for a few weeks.

5. Ginger ~ Drink 2 to 3 cups of ginger tea daily. Make the tea by adding 1-teaspoon of grated ginger to a cup of hot water. Let it steep for 5 minutes, strain and add a little honey.

6. Fenugreek Seeds ~ Soak 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. The next morning, eat the soaked seeds along with the water on an empty stomach. You can add honey if you like.

A Great Alternative To Chemotherapy
